DEFINITION OF AWARD CATEGORIES

 
Franchise Operator Champion of Success  – A Veteran or military spouse who purchased and still owns a franchise after their successful transition from active duty military service into civilian life.  A recipient of this award is a champion of success in franchise operations.
 
Small Business/Entrepreneur Champion of Success – A Veteran or military spouse who started and still works for their small business after a successful transition from active duty military service into the civilian community.  A recipient of this award is a champion of success in a small business/entrepreneurship. 
 
Nonprofit/Charitable Organization Champion of Success
- A Veteran or military spouse who worked for and still works with a nonprofit/charitable organization after a successful transition from active duty military service into civilian life.   A recipient of this award is a champion of success in a nonprofit/charitable organization.

Federal/State Government Champion of Success - A Veteran or Military Spouse who worked for and still works with the Federal or State government after a successful transition into civilian life.  A recipient of this award is a champion of success in the federal or state government.

County/City Government Champion of Success - A Veteran or Military Spouse who worked for a County or City government after a successful transition into civilian life.  A recipient of this award is a champion of success in county/city government.

Corporate Leader/Executive Champion of Success - A Veteran or Military Spouse who was promoted to a leadership role within his/her organization after a successful transition into civilian life.  A recipient of this award is a champion of success in corporate leadership/management.

Corporate Employee Champion of Success - Any Veteran or Military Spouse who worked for and still works as an employee after a successful transition into civilian life.  A recipient of this award is a champion of success in a corporation as an employee (none managerial role).
